INVITATION TO THE 2^ND INTERNATIONAL MARIONETTE FESTIVAL HANOI - 2010

Dear Sir or Madam,

The Organizing Committee of the 2^nd International Marionette Festival Hanoi – 2010 has the honor to announce that under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the Second International Marionette Festival proposed to be held in Hanoi during 20-30 September,2010.

It is expected that the Festival will attract the participation of puppet troupes coming from 12 to 19 puppetry companies from all over the world and the professional puppetry companies, Merit of Arts puppeteers from Vietnam.

An International Jury consisting of world prestige artists and critics will be set up. Festival prizes will be granted together with cup, certificate and cash.

The Organizing Committee has a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 2^nd International Marionette Festival Hanoi – 2010 with each act less than 40 minutes and the maximum number of each troupe is 10 persons.

 The Organizing Committee would be pleased to cover all expenses for board and lodging, local transportation in Vietnam, pocket money and Insurance fee in Vietnam for the maximum of 10 persons/troupe ( exceed 10 persons, the company has to pay for the board and lodging in Vietnam for the exceeded persons).

International return air tickets, props transportation costs and visa fee should be bourne by the troupe.

Please note that DVD/VCD on the participating atcs, photos and brochures about the troupe should be sent to the Organizing Committee before that date stated above.
