Over the past 50 years of establishment and development, with its serious artistic labour, under all difficult and pierce war circumstances as well as in the current peacetime and national development, the Vietnam National Puppetry Theatre has been honoured to received high distinctions from the Party and Government, including: 

1. Labour Order, Thirst Class in 1960.

2. Labour Order, Thirst Class in 1961.

3. Resistance Order, Third Class in 1973.

4. Isala Order – Freedom Order, First Class – the highest distinction of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic presented in 1973.

5. Certificate of Merit presented by the World Youth and Students’ Federation and the Women International Democratic Federation in 1978.

6. Labour Order, Second Class in 2001.
